I enjoyed watching my nephew played his butterfly yoyo and I have to say that it’s not that easy to play with it esp. doing all the tricks. I guess it’s even harder to bake these oh so colorful and delicious macarons if a non-baker just like me will make it. Hehe.. I’ll just ask my sister to bake it for me and will just help her in preparing the ingredients.

Yay, summer is coming and thinking about the humidity makes me sweat right now. I still remember how hot the summer is last year and all I did was to complain …lol

Anyway, I think this Mango Strawberry Mimosa Pops will make our summer cooler. I saw this online as a a dessert for bridal shower and I think this idea is cool.

Mango Strawberry Mimosa Pop
ingredients:
• mango orange juice
• fresh strawberries
• prosecco
• 3 oz dixie cups
• small bamboo forks purchased at Target

directions:
1. Mix 1 cup of OJ with ½ cup Proscecco
2. Pour into 8 small dixie cups – should fill up about ¾ of the way. Put in the freezer for 30 minutes
3. While those are freezing, take 5 large strawberries and puree with ¼ cup OJ
4. Add this next layer to the popsicles along with the bamboo forks in the center and freeze overnight
5. Enjoy!

Ahhh this new Selecta Cornetto Disc commercial – Hey Daydreamer has been ringing in my ear all the time. I’ve been singing it from time to time and I’m already having an LSS (last song syndrome). So one afternoon, I asked my niece to go to the grocery to to finally stop my craving as well.

To tell you the truth, I’m not a choco lover but of course I eat them in moderation. I can take a bite, eat a half portion of a bar and I’m done. It’s summer once again and what a great way to cool off is to drink cold beverages, eat yogurts and more. Just this weekend my 2 teenage niece asked me to eat at Red Mango but I declined, they went ahead and enjoyed themselves. Poor me, my stomach is sensitive to yogurts, cheese and milk so I have to say no to this delicious dessert.
