My older sister and her husband celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last May 10 and unfortunately they are both not in the country when they celebrated it. It was only made special when some of their friends overseas gatehr together at their house to greet them and give them warm wishes.

Just learned that they will be coming home this 20th of June for a vacation and they might have a post silver wedding celebration so that their family and friends here can attend. If that will push through, I already know where to order Wedding Anniversary Invitations as I am sure my sister will ask me to do that for her. I’m just excited for their homecoming and this means more family bonding with their kids and with us will be done.

My bro and I were on the road last weekend to visit a relative and it was already afternoon when we’re heading home. We got stuck in traffic on one of the busy streets in the Metro and I could not help but to whine. I was already hungry and going out to dine is impossible already since I wanted to go home immediately.

Anyway, we passed by one of the McDonald’s store and I ordered my fave chicken sandwich and French fries. It will surely fill my hunger but as we are about to go to the claiming window, the car in front of us is not moving. My bro waited patiently but few more minutes passed and my bro decided to blog his horn. Apparently, the car broke down and later on the driver’s companions went out to push the car in attempt to make it start. They tried 2-3 times but it failed. I’m getting displeased about the incident but when a guy tripped and fell while pushing the car made me laugh for a while. Still could not make the car start so they just decided to push it on the side. Such a hassle especially when you’re in a hurry.

I reckon the car owner should have his vehicle checked by professional at once. It’s always fun to scour the net for cooking tips and read the gastronomic adventures of those people who love food so much. When I get tired of the same old dishes that I’ve been cooking for my family, the internet is my savior for it is where I find new recipes that I can try and experiment.

I’m not really that adventurous when it comes to food but when I saw a recipe where the ingredients are easy to find, then that’s the time I try to cook it and luckily I found some delicious recipes online. Meanwhile, let me share some techie stuff that I found lately that I’m sure anyone of us can use. They are all free and open source software so we’re not going to shell out any money to get hold of them.

There are times the downloaded file or documents that we got from the net or someone we know are zipped or compressed to reduce file size. We can only open and use those files if we use 7Zip Basics which is a good tool to unzip files those compressed files. Some files may contain 2 or several data or folders so zipping them can reduce their bytes and it’s easier to share and upload elsewhere.

Peer-to-peer sharing is not new as well these days. Using aMule, communication program can help those that wanted to share files, documents, templates and more for business or personal use faster and easier.

Ohh.. I just love listening to music while cooking or when I feel a bit gloomy and need some cheering up. Ares Music is another way to download, share files, music and videos etc. via networking.

Every one of us has our own style and that what makes us all different. I guess a lot of us have been making new goals, projects and things to do every time new year comes and some may be successful and some may not. The last quarter of the year and perhaps the 1st quarter of the year and not to mention the tax season can be said the most difficult times of the months for us, financially wise. I guess it’s because of the holidays and other expenses.

With all those in our shoulders, we have every reason to penny pinch at the start of the year hoping to save more to be ready for the next batch of expenses.
