Chicken Breast with Mushrooms in Creamy Sauce Recipe
Today is one of those days when I don’t know what to cook for lunch. I opened my freezer and there I saw chicken breast and frozen sweet peas so it gave me an instant idea what to cook. Fortunately, I have a can of button mushrooms but I got no all purpose cream or cream of mushroom but I know what to substitute for it.
Ingredients: The measurements are just approximates bec. most of the times I don’t really measure when cooking, ok
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 onion
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 can of button mushrooms cut into pcs.
1 carrot – cut into strips
1 chicken breast – cut into strip
about 1/2 cup of sweet peas
salt, pepper,
about 1/2 cup of water
about 1/2 cup of evaporated milk –(you can also use all purpose cream or cream of mushroom soup) Note: if you use cream of mushroom, i think you don;t need cornstarch anymore because this is already thick)
cornstarch dissolve in water
Procedure:
1. Put cooking oil 1st so that butter will not burn, butter then saute garlic, onion.
2. Add the chicken, cook until it changed color
3. Add the veggies. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Add water and the milk. Cover and simmer
5. Add the cornstarch until thick.
6. Adjust seasoning according to your taste. Serve hot! Yum!
Mango Strawberry Mimosa Popsicles
Yay, summer is coming and thinking about the humidity makes me sweat right now. I still remember how hot the summer is last year and all I did was to complain …lol
Anyway, I think this Mango Strawberry Mimosa Pops will make our summer cooler. I saw this online as a a dessert for bridal shower and I think this idea is cool.
Mango Strawberry Mimosa Pop
ingredients:
• mango orange juice
• fresh strawberries
• prosecco
• 3 oz dixie cups
• small bamboo forks purchased at Target
directions:
1. Mix 1 cup of OJ with ½ cup Proscecco
2. Pour into 8 small dixie cups – should fill up about ¾ of the way. Put in the freezer for 30 minutes
3. While those are freezing, take 5 large strawberries and puree with ¼ cup OJ
4. Add this next layer to the popsicles along with the bamboo forks in the center and freeze overnight
5. Enjoy!

Beef with Mushroom in Oyster Sauce

Here’s another quick and tasty recipe that I cooked few weeks ago. My friend posted a photo at her IG acct. the dish with mushroom that they ate in her fave restaurant and I drooled over it so I decided to cook this Beef with Mushroom in Oyster Sauce.
Ingredients:
1/2 kilo or sirloin beef cut into strips
1 can button mushrooms
1 onion
2- 3 cloves garlic
1 carrots cut into strips
approximately 1/2 c water
3-4 Tbsp oyster sauce
pepper
Directions:
1. Saute garlic, onion. Add the beef
2. Add carrots, mushroom. then add water. Simmer till tender
3. . Add the oyster sauce until cooked
So easy!
Garlic Shrimps Recipe

I love shrimps! They are just so versatile as you can make a lot of dishes out of them. You can even put them along with different veggies, bake it, put cream and lots of other delicious dishes.
This is a very simple recipe of garlic shrimps that I cooked on my birthday last November 16th. I found this real recipe online whilst looking for projector bulbs that we’re suppose to use on my birthday.
Directions:
Saute lots of garlic on butter then add the shrimps. Season with salt and pepper. The shrimps are already cooked when it turned into pinkish color. Serve hot.
Mixed Veggies with Toge REcipe


I always make it a point to cook veggies 2-3x a week and have fruits all the time so that we can eat healthy foods. This mixed veggies with toge is one of the favorite to cook because it is so healthy and easy to cook. I took this photo using my iphone and I bet the photo will be so much clearer when a DSLR like canon rebel t1i is used.
Here’s the recipe for Mixed veggies with toge..
ingredients:
garlic, onions, carrots, sweet potato (camote), green peas
toge, shrimps
Directions
saute garlic, onions, carrots, shrimps, green peas, camote. Add water, simmer till veggies are tender.
season with salt, pepper
Put the toge last and simmer. Serve add.
Note: you can also add oyster sauce if you like.
Cream Dory Fish with Creamy Sauce
Been cooking this over and over for my family and they loved it.
Ingredients:
1 kilo cream dory fish– cut into serving portions
1 lemon
2 tsp. maggi magic sarap
all purpose flour
1 big can of Alaska evaporated milk
1 small pack of mix vegetables
2-3 tbsp. of butter
4 cloves garlic
1 tbsp. cornstarch- dissolved in water
salt
pepper
Procedure:
~Season cream dory fish dash of salt and pepper, maggi magic sarap, lemon and marinade for 1 hr- Overnight is the best.
~Coat with flour and fry.
SAUCE
saute garlic in butter, add the mixed vegetables, evaporated milk, salt, pepper, maggie magic sarap. Simmer for few minutes. Add the cornstarch that is dissolved in water. Cook until thick. Adjust consistency and seasoning according to your taste.
Sweet and Sour Cream Dory Fish Fillet with Tofu Recipe
I love sweet and sour dishes and this one is one of my favorite to cook. I always buy a frozen Cream Dory Fish at the grocery and the price of 1 kilo varies from P150-180.00 that has 3 fillets.
Here’s the recipe of Sweet and Sour Cream Dory Fish Fillet with Tofu.
Ingredients:
1 kilo Cream Dory Fish, cut into bite pieces
1 lemon
1 pack Tofu, cut into cubes
1/2 plastic of small pack of green peas
1 carrot
1 onion
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 red bell pepper
Vinegar
salt
pepper
sugar
flour
cornstarch
water
Directions:
1. Rub cream dory fish fillet with salt, pepper and lemon. Let stand for an hour or so. Coat with flour then fry. Set aside.
2. Fry tofu then set aside.
3. Make the sauce. Saute garlic, onion, red bell pepper. Add water, put all the veggies. Cover and simmer till veggies are cooked. Put the vinegar, let it boil. Add sugar, pepper and salt. Add the tofu Taste. Add cornstarch that was dissolved in water. Stir until it thickens. Serve hot.

I’m sure Hello Kitty fans will be thrilled to see this pudding with Kitty’s shape. The pudding maker comes with a recipe book and you can follow it very quickly. Priced at 44.60 USD. You don’t need to be a cooking expert to bake this one for sure. Hmmm.. I wonder what’s the taste of it.

Easy to Cook Sayote with Shrimps Recipe
Once in a while we need to eat veggies so I cooked this very simple and easy to cook sayote with shrimps.
Ingredients:
1 pc sayote cut into strips
shrimps
onion
garlic
salt
pepper
water or sabaw ng pinisang ulo ng shrimps
oil
Directions:
1. Saute garlic, onion. Add the shrimps until it changed into orange color.
2. Add the sayote, add little bit of water. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Simmer until the sayote is cooked.
Serve hot. That’s it, pretty easy to cook!
Beef with Brocolli Recipe
I remember cooking this dish before but it didn’t turn out that great when I tried this, so I search online for a recipe and found a recipe at PanlasangPinoy.com/. Here’s the recipe that I tried and it’s real good. I just adjusted the measurements according to my taste.
Ingredients:
1/2 kilo beef sirloin
2 cups broccoli, chopped and BLANCHED
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1 tablespoon garlic, finely minced
1 teaspoon cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
Sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 teaspoon rice wine (since I don’t have this so I didn’t put any)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
½ beef cube dissolved in ½ cup water
Marinade
2 teaspoon soy sauce
2 teaspoon rice wine
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
a dash of ground black pepper
1. Marinate the beef for 30 mins or longer
2. Combine all the sauce ingredients in a separate bowl
3. Put oil on the pan and when it’s hot put the marinated beef. Make sure you flip it from time to time to cook both sides
4. Put the sauce and the freshly ground garlic and cook for few minutes.
5. Add the blanched brocolli and simmer for few minutes more
6. Add the cornstarch which is diluted in water and wait until it thickens
