The last typhoon, Pedring left a lot of places flooded and destructed. I could not beleive my eyes when I saw streets of Manila and Roxas Boulevard on the news being battered by strong winds and rain waters. I have some friends who got stranded on their way home and some of their vehicles stuck in knee to waist level waters. It was indeed a nasty storm that happened on Tuesday. I will not wonder also if rv towing services will be called to tow RVs and other vehicles.

I’m thankful that our place was not affected by floods only strong winds keep bashing our trees. Also, we’ve got lots of food supplies that time so we have enough food to cook and eat not requiring us to go to the store or market to buy our supplies.

I just hope and pray that no more destructive storms will come as it is heartbreaking to see lots of people most especially in the squatters area left with nothing.

Just learned from sis Joy that it’s officially Spring time now in Aussie Land. Since it’s not that too cold anymore, they’ll have more time to go out now sans their ugg boots and enjoy Mr. Sun. I have not experienced spring  there because every time I go there  for a vacation which usually lasted for 3 months, it’s either summer or fall seasons. I bet it’s beautiful there as well because the flowers and trees will soon blossom once again.

Anyway, they are actually building a new house and the construction may be a bit slow during the winter days but since  spring season arrived already, for sure the building will be in full blast . I can’t wait to see the final result.

It’s raining almost everyday now, mostly in the afternoon and that makes some people sick. Umbrellas, sweaters and hats are something that we should need forget to bring when we are out for we can’t predict the weather. During the day, it’ll be hot and humid then the clouds will start to get dark by mid afternoon and will rain heavily afterwards.

My brother is even planning to buy a new jacket for  himself that is water-proof plus a rainboots just in case there’ll be flood. Nothing beats being prepared during rainy days.

I just learned that my nephew is sick since last night. Knowing my nephew he can get sick quite easily because he has weak immune system and he’s kinda a picky eater.

I went to their house this morning to check on him and there he was lying on the couch with fever. His mom already gave her some medicines and hopefully he’ll recover fast so that he can already go to school by tomorrow. It’s hard being sick most especially kids.

I am guessing it is due to our erratic weather pattern that makes them sick as well. In the morning it can  be so hot and humid then all of a sudden it will just rain so hard. Just like now, I can see the sun is so bright and hot but I can see some dark clouds over the horizon and for sure it will rain again tonight bec. I heard at the news that a new typhoon entered the country once again.

I think parents should give their kids vitamins everyday, aside from of course feeding them with nutritious foods. Colds and flu are very common during this rainy season.
