My Homemade Pork Hamonado
I’ve been craving for this since last month for I don’t actually cook this on regular days. My SIL usually cook this during birthdays, fiesta, New Year’s eve and other occasion. To satisfy my craving, I asked my other SIL to buy me just 1/2 kilo of pork sliced hamonado style and I cooked it the other week.
Honestly, I don’t have the exact measurement for this recipe because sometimes when I cook I just estimate and taste according to my liking w/o jotting down the measurements.
Anyway, here are the ingredients:
1/2 k of pork tapa
1/2 carrot cut into strips
2-3 pickles cut into strips
pineapple tidbits
you can also put hotdog
1 small can of pineapple juice
brown sugar
salt
Rub the meat with salt and sugar. Arrange the ingredients.. roll and tie. Marinade overnight on pineapple juice, salt and brown sugar. Taste according to your liking.. Cook in low fire until tender. Cut into pieces and serve.
It will look like this. Sorry for the poor image quality, the lighting on our dining area is kinda dim already. How’d I wish I can replace it with a ceiling fan lighting if I have enough budget.

Busy Day
It’s been a busy day for me. Though it’s tiring but at least I get to accomplish a lot today. This morning, I started to clean the living room and then cooked lunch. I have 2 laborers working on our roof too so I have to man them and double the dish that I cooked. I also worked on my online stuff for there are some expiring and due today. Aside from that, I did some research on various logic controls needed for the business of my cousin.
It’s almost dinner time and thankfully, there are leftover viand from lunch so I’ll just re-heat it later. I hope I can have a good night sleep tonight for tomorrow is another busy day for me.
